Chocolate Brownie Hummus

Serves: about 1.5 cups
  • 1 can black beans, drained and rinsed
  • ½ cup raw walnuts
  • 2 tbsp cacao powder
  • 2 tbsp coconut oil, melted
  • 3 tbsp maple syrup
  • 2 tsp vanilla extract
  • ⅛ tsp sea salt
  • ¼ cup mini chocolate chips
  1. Place all ingredients, minus the mini chocolate chips, in bowl of food processor fitted with blade attachment. Process until smooth, pausing to scrape sides of bowl as needed.
  2. Transfer hummus to serving bowl and fold in mini chocolate chips. Serve at room temperature. Store in refrigerator.
