Why “Heart and Stove”?
Heart and Stove is a play on “heart and soul.” Maybe I’ve watched one too many HGTV shows, but I think of the kitchen as the heart of the home. It’s not just the food we prepare there that nourishes our bodies, minds, and spirits, but also the many traditions, holidays, and time with family and friends that seem to revolve around the kitchen space.
I believe food prepared with intention and love is always the best kind of food. While I share mostly healthy recipes on this site, I’ll occasionally share non-food related things that make my heart happy, like photography and my latest adventures.
